Alflora Organic Alfalfa Chaff. Alflora Alfalfa Chaff main application is for maintenance of normal working horses. This would also include horses that are competing at a more relaxed level, but still require a high quality balanced chaff to base a diet around. It retains the typical fragrancy and colour of recently harvested alfalfa. Its main field of use in the planning of a horse ration that requires a basis for a balanced equine diet for horses under an average or typical workload, such as those competing less regularly or perhaps at lower levels. Or equally, those competing in disciplines that don’t require extreme protein intakes, or indeed those of a stage of life that the don’t require the higher protein intakes in their diets.
