Saracen KERx EquiShure is a research-proven, time-released hindgut buffer and digestive health supplement. Its patented encapsulation technology delivers sodium bicarbonate directly to the horse’s hindgut — taking 6 hours to release and a full 24 hours to break down completely — helping to maintain a stable, optimal pH environment in the colon and caecum.
Suitable for horses fed high starch or cereal-based diets, those sensitive to changes in feed, forage or management, and horses showing signs of digestive upset or diagnosed with hindgut acidosis. Can be used safely for horses in training or high-performance exercise, mares in late pregnancy, and horses in stressful situations such as sales preparation, travel, or competition.
Research has shown that supplementing with EquiShure leads to more stable faecal pH levels compared to controls, following consumption of a grain meal or exposure to lush pasture.

Feeding Directions
Top-dress directly onto concentrate feed immediately before feeding. For best results, divide the daily amount equally among concentrate meals to maximise the benefit of the 6-hour time release. A 30 g scoop is included; average serving size is 60 g.
