Barrier Livestock Louse Powder successfully rids animals, including Cattle, Horses, Goats, Rabbits and other small pets of both Sucking and Biting Lice and will help to prevent reduced growth rates, which can result from Lice infestation.
This product does not cause any carcinogenic effects & it can be directly applied on all animals including cattle, horses, goats, rabbits & other smaller pets over 7 days old.
You can use this product when running an organic farm as it falls into the exempt category of products that only use plant oils as active ingredients.
Not suitable for use on pigs or birds as the powder will not have enough hair to hold onto & it will not stay attached to feathers.

Uses: Can be used as a protection against or where there is existing infestation.
Directions for use: After identifying that lice is the problem, thoroughly cover the animal with the product, paying particular attention to the neck, under the elbows, legs, along the back and at the base of the tail. Use a soft brush to ensure that the product is thoroughly worked into the coat and down to the base of the hair.
Where heavy infestations exist, repeat application after 7 days. Although lice can only survive for a few days off their host, it is important to remember to treat all bedding, housing etc at the same time to prevent re-infestation.
Safety: Livestock Louse Powder contains Sterlizable Maize as the base carrier. Unlike other carriers, it will not be metabolised via cuts and abrasions, scabs, grazes, dry and flaky skin and so form granulomas.
Storage : Always ensure that the cap is tightly closed after use. Store in a cool dry place.
