Pure Feed Pure Stud is a high-fibre, all-in-one bucket feed formulated for broodmares, foals, youngstock and working stallions. Supplied in a 15kg bag, it combines several chaffs, slow-release energy sources and a fortified balancer to help meet the increased nutritional demands associated with breeding, growth and work.
Quality protein and the essential amino acids lysine and methionine support normal growth and tissue development. Fibre, rapeseed oil and unmolassed sugar beet provide controlled energy, while added vitamins, minerals, prebiotics and live yeast help create a balanced, convenient ration when Pure Stud is fed at the recommended rate alongside suitable forage.

Who is Pure Stud suitable for?
Pure Stud is designed for:
- pregnant broodmares, particularly as requirements rise later in gestation;
- lactating mares with increased energy, protein, vitamin and mineral needs;
- foals, weanlings and growing young horses requiring balanced nutrition for controlled development; and
- working stallions needing a balanced, fibre-rich feed with slow-release energy.
Requirements vary with forage, bodyweight, body condition, pregnancy or lactation stage, growth and workload. Ask an equine nutritionist or vet to review the complete ration if a mare or youngster is losing condition, gaining excess weight or developing unevenly.
Feeding guide
Feed 400–600g per 100kg of bodyweight per day. Select the appropriate point within the range according to body condition, forage, workload and individual requirements.

Weigh the dry feed, divide the daily amount between suitable meals and dampen well with water before feeding. Introduce a new feed gradually. Feed alongside appropriate forage and provide continuous access to clean, fresh water. Always check the current bag instructions.
Because the vitamin and mineral contribution depends on the amount fed, do not add another broad-spectrum balancer or vitamin and mineral supplement without checking the complete ration.

Composition
Grass pellets, grass chaff, oatstraw chaff, oatfeed pellets, rapeseed oil, wheatfeed, sunflower extract, dark distillers’ grains, linseed meal, unmolassed sugar beet, vitamins and minerals, limestone, sodium chloride, dicalcium phosphate, fructo-oligosaccharides and Vistacell yeast.
Additives: Added vitamins A, D3 and E; copper, zinc, iodine, selenium and manganese; L-lysine and DL-methionine. Gut flora stabiliser: Saccharomyces cerevisiae MUCL 39885 (4b1710), 6 billion CFU/kg.
