Versele-Laga Country’s Best SHOW 3 Pellet is a complete maintenance feed for pheasants, partridges, guinea fowl, quail and ornamental fowl, including peafowl. Its 2mm pellets contain 15% protein. The standard programme starts at week 13 and continues for adult birds outside breeding. It is also recommended for birds entered for shows.
Omega-3 fatty acids and natural pigments support feather colour and condition. This formula contains no coccidiostat.
Feeding guidance
Feed freely from week 13 in the standard programme, and to adult birds outside the breeding season. Select a breeder ration for the breeding and laying period.
Provide suitable grit and a plentiful supply of clean drinking water. Bag size: 20kg.
Birds entered for shows
Versele-Laga gives a separate starting point for birds actively entered for shows: hens may move onto this feed at nine weeks and cockerels at eleven weeks. The general starting point remains week 13.
Feeding precautions
- Do not use alongside drinking water supplemented with choline chloride.
- The manufacturer recommends no more than 1,000mg of supplemental choline chloride per kg of complete poultry feed.
- Do not combine different organic acids or their salts when any is already at or close to its maximum permitted level.

SHOW 3 is a maintenance feed from week 13 and for adults outside breeding. For breeding and laying, see SHOW 4 Pellet. Select the feed for the bird’s stage and purpose.
