Versele-Laga Country’s Best SHOW 2 Pellet is a complete grower feed for pheasants, partridges, guinea fowl, quail and ornamental fowl, including peafowl. It supplies 19.5% protein in a small 2mm pellet for the standard weeks 7–12 feeding stage.
The formula contains a coccidiostat and includes omega-3 fatty acids and natural pigments to support feather condition.
Feeding guidance
Feed freely during weeks 7–12 in the standard programme. Check that young birds can pick up and swallow the pellets when changing from crumble. The usual next stage is SHOW 3 from week 13.
Provide suitable grit and a plentiful supply of clean drinking water. Bag size: 20kg.
Birds entered for shows
For birds actively entered for shows, Versele-Laga gives an earlier change to SHOW 3: hens may move at nine weeks and cockerels at eleven weeks. Follow this specific show-bird programme where it applies.
Feeding precautions
- Keep away from horses and other equines: this feed is dangerous to them.
- Some medicines are incompatible with this feed. Check compatibility before using it alongside medication.
- Do not combine different organic acids or their salts when any is already at or close to its maximum permitted level.
